About Me
Hello My name is Brandon Pounds. I have lived in Jackson Tennessee every since I was born.I have a great family. My mother's name is Kathy and My Father's name is John Robert.I also have one brother who is older than me and his name is Jonathan. Growing up in Jackson Tennessee has been interesting for because I am a music lover and Jackson in know for being the birth place of Rockabilly music witch was one of the many genres that has sparked the creation of rock and roll. My major is EMI. I have chosen this path because I want to eventually have a career in the music industry and be able to make a living with music whether it be playing music producing music or the business side of the music industry. How I heard about Union is that I was a former student at Lambuth University here in Jackson Tennessee. Unfortunately Lambuth University has closed down as of early 2011. But fortunately for the students of Lambuth University. Union University was giving out a teach out program for students who wanted to finish out their college degree. My Favorite Bible verse Is "Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee," Exodus 20:12.This is my favorite Bible verse because this verse has played an important part in my life, I can always recall to this verse because it has proven to me that this is in fact true to all of my choices that I make in my life. I am excited about being a new student at Union University and also learning about computer science. I hope to gain knowledge that will further help me in my career and in life.
Music
As I have mentioned. Music plays a very huge role in my life. Playing music is a way to let my artistic freedom run wild and create any type of music from any kind of emotions or feelings that I have at that present moment or for that matter at any moment. That's the beauty of music, it's a way to be free and express what you want at anytime. I am fortunate enough to be able to have the ability to play and create music and I wouldn't want it any other way. I soon hope to make music apart of my career and profession, and that would really be the icing on the cake in my life. I only hope to gain more knowledge from graduating college and better help me full fill my career in the music industry.
